Repair - Microsoft Windows
Relatively safe procedure to reset part of your network (and Internet) connection.
- Right-click the Network Connection Icon in the System Tray (two monitors).
- Choose Repair
If you can't find the Network Connection Icon follow these directions.
This procedure:
- releases DHCP
- renews DHCP
- flushes DNS cache
- flushes ARP cache
- flush the NetBios name cache
