Address Book Setup

• Applications, Office, Efax-GTK
• Tel number:
• [Add] - the pencil icon
• Name:, Number:
• Adjust the order with [UP] [DOWN]
• There is no edit, use [Delete] [Add]

Software testing

• Applications, OpenOffice.org Word Processor
• Enter some text
• File, Print, fax , OK
• In Efax popup, click Tel Number, Select Entry, Send Fax

Troubleshooting

• Make sure the port works. Connecting to tty0 for example will turn the system into mush
• Make sure the port number matches in Printers and Efax
• If the computer lacks an external serial port, selecting an appropriate PCIh hardware modem makes life easier.
