(event) 1920's Dance Workshop at the Conservatory The Conservatory of Dance & Theatre in downtown Galax is offering a 1920's dance workshop Saturday, February 7 from 4:00-5:30pm. The workshop is great exercise and lots of fun for men women, boys and girls. No partner is necessary. Instructor is dancer/actress Linda Donnell. Cost is $25 for an individual, $35 per couple. Space is limited. (event) Spring Homeschool Testing Scheduled Start: 2009/01/31 23:24 Professional tester Bonnie Munger of Piedmont Education Services (Pfafftown NC) will administer the nationally-standardized test, Woodcock-Johnson III, for any homeschooler grades K-12 on Friday, May 29, 2009 at the Galax Public Library from 9:00am-5:00pm. WJIII is mostly oral and students are tested individually. Cost is $65 per student.
